The products have recently been developed in co-operation with the
worlds leading cruise lines, turnkey contractors and shipyards to reduce
labor and fitting costs. They are specifically designed for the
protection of all types of carpets during new building, refit,
maintenance and outfitting projects within the industrial sector.
carpet cover guard is manufactured from low-density polyethylene and is
flame retardant, very lightly embossed and benefits from having a
pressure sensitive water based adhesive backing which is a reverse wound
system to ensure that the 3 and 4 mil products remain firmly in place
during the protection period.
Installation is simplified due to the quick clean release backing.
Simply roll out the product onto the carpet for the duration of the
protection period. Cutting and shaping is effortless and there is no
risk of glue line transfer. The products are extremely strong and
durable, offering resistance to tears and punctures when applied to the
surface, maintenance is very low but damages can be simply re-protected
quickly.
carpet cover guard can be used in open public areas, walkways, cabins
and stairwells to protect carpets for days, weeks or months against
general foot traffic and trade activity. The system is very quick,
efficient and is easy to use, assuring our customers of total protection
against water, most chemicals, dust, dirt and debris penetration, thus
reducing the risk of soiling the finish.
Produced in several widths and available from stock, the products are
extremely compact, light, manageable and easy to handle in confined
spaces, thus reducing the amount of storage space required. Custom sizes
and colors are available on request. These materials are manufactured
to the highest levels of quality, service and safety. They are fully
mil-traceable and continuously re-tested for flame retardancy, smoke and
toxicity to reduce the risk of fire.
